1. What information does PostalAnnex+, Inc. collect from you?
In order to better provide you with our products and services, our
Site collects two types of information about its visitors: Personally
Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information.
Our primary goal in collecting information from you is to provide
you with a smooth, efficient and customized experience while using
our Site.
Personally Identifiable
Information: This refers to information that lets us know the specifics
of who you are. This information might include your name, company,
and title, mailing address, telephone number; fax number, email
address and other identification and contact information. We may
gather any Personally Identifiable Information that you voluntarily
disclose to us, for instance, when you register to receive Email
information, or contact us to inquire about career opportunities,
to ask us questions or to provide us feedback by filling out one
of our online contact information forms.
Non-Personally
Identifiable Information: This refers to information that does not
by itself identify a specific individual. We gather certain information
about you based upon what pages of our Site you visit in several
ways. This information is compiled and analyzed on both a personal
and an aggregated basis. This information may include the Web site's
Uniform Resource Locator ("URL") that you just came from,
which URL you next go to, what browser you are using, and your Internet
Protocol ("IP") address. A URL is the global address of
documents and other resources on the World Wide Web. An IP address
is an identifier for a computer or device on a Transmission Control
Protocol/Internet Protocol ("TCP/IP") network, such as
the World Wide Web. Networks use the TCP/IP protocol to route information
based on the IP address of the destination. In other words, an IP
address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer
whenever you are surfing the Web, allowing Web servers to locate
and identify your computer. Computers require IP addresses in order
for users to communicate on the Internet, browse and conduct transactions.
2. Where do
we collect information from you and how do we use it?
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide
our visitors with a superior online experience. We may perform statistical
analyses of aggregate visitor behavior. This allows us to measure
relative visitor interest in the various areas of our Site for product
development purposes. Any information we collect is used for our
own internal purposes to improve the content of our Site, to enhance
visitors' experiences when visiting our Site, to customize the content
and/or layout of our pages, and to provide the services required
by an individual visitor.
We gather information
in the following ways: Email Inquiries: You may ask to receive email
information, regarding PostalAnnex. In that process you may submit
to us your email address so that we can respond.
Contact Us:
You may contact us through our Contact Us section in order to request
information about our franchisees, franchise opportunities, products,
services, or other related information. You may also submit comments,
questions or feedback to us through our Contact Us section. In order
to contact us through our Contact Us sections we may ask for certain
contact information from you, including your name, company, title,
mailing address, telephone number, fax number and email address.
We gather this information, and any comments or feedback that you
submit along with it in order to contact you and so that we may
understand our visitors' interests and to address questions about
our services and product and our site.
Contact Information
and Third Party Data: If you contact us by telephone, email or letter,
or through our Contact Us form, whether to obtain information about
a product, to submit a resume for employment, or for any other reason,
we may keep a record of your correspondence or comments. If you
report a problem with our Site, we may collect such information
in a file specific to you. If you contact us by calling our office,
we ask for your name, email address and other contact information
in order to send you a reply. If other users or third parties send
us correspondence about your activities on our Site, we may keep
the information in a file specific to you. This information will
not be turned over to any third parties unless PostalAnnex. (i)
determines it is reasonably necessary to enforce or apply our Terms
and Conditions of Use ("Terms and Conditions") or to protect
the rights, property and safety of our users, others and ourselves,
or (ii) is required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to
do so.
IP Addresses:
We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration,
to gather broad demographic information to monitor the level of
activity on our Site. We collect information from visitors to our
Site regarding the referring URL, your IP address, which browser
you used to come to the Site, the country, state and telephone area
code where your server is located, the pages of our Site that you
viewed during your visit and any search terms entered on our Site.
We use your IP address to diagnose problems with our servers and
software and to administer our Site.
Cookies: We
currently use cookies in the operation of our Site; to find out
what cookies are and how we use them, click here.
Visitor Traffic:
We also track visitors' traffic patterns throughout their online
sessions, including which pages a visitor views while using our
Site. This information is ultimately stored in the form of store
categories, and, in some cases, specific URLs.
3. Who is collecting
your information?
Except as otherwise expressly discussed in this Privacy Policy,
this document only addresses the use and disclosure of information
we collect from you and does not address, directly or indirectly,
use and disclosure of information collected by others. For instance,
we currently utilize third party service providers to provide web
site services. We encourage you to ask questions and to be very
cautious before you disclose your personal information to others.
Please refer to the privacy policies of our third party service
providers in order to understand how they use and disclose information.
Links to Third
Party Sites: Please be aware that our Site may contain links to
other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third
parties. The information practices of those Web sites linking from
or to our Site are not covered by this Policy. These other sites
may send their cookies to visitors, collect data or solicit personal
information. We cannot control this collection of information.
4. With whom
do we share your information?
The information collected by our Site is used to provide our visitor
services, for statistical purposes to improve our Site, or to let
us know what portions of our Site our visitors are interested in.
However, we may release Personally Identifiable Information when
we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to enforce
or apply our Terms and Conditions or to protect the rights, property
and safety of our visitors, others and ourselves.
Other Parties:
We do not sell, trade or rent your Personally Identifiable Information
to others. We may provide Non-Personally Identifiable Information
about our visitors' traffic patterns and related Site information
to third parties, but these statistics do not include any Personally
Identifiable Information.
Services Provided
on Our Site: Except as otherwise stated in this Policy, at present
PostalAnnex+, Inc. does not disclose its visitors' Personally Identifiable
Information to other parties.
Compliance with
Service of Process or Law Enforcement: From time to time, we may
be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide
Personally Identifiable Information (as well as Non-Personally Identifiable
Information), if we possess any, to the appropriate governmental
authorities. We will disclose such information, if we possess any,
upon receipt of a court order or subpoena or to cooperate with a
law enforcement investigation. We fully cooperate with law enforcement
agencies in identifying those who use our services for illegal activities.
We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities
that we in good faith believe to be unlawful.
5. How can you
correct or update your Personally Identifiable Information?
We believe you should have the ability to access and edit the Personally
Identifiable Information that you provide to us. If the Personally
Identifiable Information that you have provided us is incorrect
or changes we encourage you to promptly update your Personally Identifiable
Information by sending us an email at privacy@postalannex.us. You
may ask to have the contact information that you have submitted
to us deleted. As a security measure we "back up" the
data stored on our systems, and such prior information cannot be
completely removed from our databases. As a result, you should not
expect that all of your Personally Identifiable Information would
be completely removed from our backed-up databases. As for Personally
Identifiable Information collected by our third party service providers,
please refer to their privacy policies.
6. What are
your choices regarding collection, use and distribution of your
Personally Identifiable Information?
If you submit to us your Personally Identifiable Information, we
may from time to time send you email or other communications regarding
current promotions, specials and new additions to our Site. You
may "opt-out" or unsubscribe from our newsletters or email
alerts by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you
receive from us, or by sending an email to optout@postalannex.com.
After doing so, visitors will not receive future communications
or mailings unless they resubmit their contact information to us.
7. What security
precautions are in place to protect against the loss, misuse or
alteration of your Personally Identifiable Information?
We employ industry-recognized information technology to protect
the security of the Personally Identifiable Information you voluntarily
submit to us. The importance of security for all Personally Identifiable
Information associated with our visitors is of utmost concern to
us. Our secure servers protect this information using password protection
and advanced encryption, and we may use firewall technology for
additional protection. Furthermore, all of the Personally Identifiable
Information we collect is protected against unauthorized access
by physical security means.
We also encourage
our partners and service providers to adopt and follow stringent
consumer privacy policies. However, we are not liable directly or
indirectly, for any loss or damages arising from their failure to
do so.
8. Use of "cookies".
Our Site currently utilizes a standard technology called a "cookie"
to collect information about how our Site is used. A cookie is a
small data text file, which a Web site stores on your computer's
hard drive (if your Web browser permits) that can later be retrieved
to identify you to us. Cookies were designed to help a Web site
recognize a user's browser as a previous visitor and thus save and
remember any preferences that may have been set while the user was
browsing the site. A cookie cannot be read by a Web site other than
the one that set the cookie. Cookies can securely store a visitor's
password, personalize home pages, and identify which parts of a
site have been visited or keep track of selections. A cookie cannot
retrieve any other data from your hard drive, pass on a computer
virus, or capture your email address.
We use cookies
to enhance your visit to our Site and to enable us to track and
target the interests of our visitors. In order to access certain
sections of our Site you shall have the option to accept either
a cookie that will allow you to access these and other related sections
of the Site for a day or a cookie that will allow you to access
these and other related sections of the Site for a whole year. If
you want access to these and other related sections for a day, you
need only agree to accept the cookie when prompted. To obtain access
for a year, you must accept a cookie when prompted and provide us
with the following contact information: your name, company, title,
mailing address, telephone number, fax number and email address.
We will use these cookies to determine what sections and pages of
our Site you visit in order to determine what your interests in
our products and services are and how we can better serve you.
Most browsers
are initially set up to accept cookies. If you prefer, you can reset
your browser to notify you when you have received a cookie, or alternatively,
to refuse to accept cookies. It is important to note that you may
not be able to access certain sections or use certain features of
our Site if you choose not to accept cookies.
9. Children
Under Age Fifteen (15) and Privacy.
We do not seek to collect Personally Identifiable Information about
children under the age of 15 through our Site. If a child under
the age of 15 submits Personally Identifiable Information to us
through any part of our Site and we know or learn that the person
submitting the Personally Identifiable Information is under the
age of 15, we shall delete such Personally Identifiable Information
as soon as we discover it and shall not use it for any purpose or
disclose it to third parties. In the odd event that a parent requests
to review or delete Personally Identifiable Information submitted
to our Site by their child under the age of 15 before we have discovered
and deleted such Personally Identifiable Information, then we will
of course honor the request.
10. You should
carefully review privacy policies of any third party sites accessible
from our Site.
Other sites accessible through our Site have their own privacy policies
and data collection, use and disclosure practices. Please consult
each site's privacy policy. We are not responsible for the policies
or practices of third parties. Please be aware that our Site may
contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and
operated by third parties. This Privacy Policy does not cover the
information practices of those Web sites linked to our Site. These
other sites may send their own cookies to users to collect data
or solicit personal information. You should contact these sites
directly if you have any questions about their use of the information
that they collect.
